NEhhh

Okay. So I haven't died. Well apparently so since I'm typing this to you all right now while mr anonymous in the chatter box conspired to kill me by summoning death chants at this blog.

*cricket*

Nope. It ain't working. Still here. Lil bro still works fine too. (least the last time I checked)

So what really has been going down with the life of Samuel Oh you may question yourself since I assume you already took my blog off your favourite list.

Well... I have a wonderful video of him, which was recorded by a paparazzi I love.

Yeap. That's pretty much it.

Making faces I never knew I could make, wooing Shaun (which blatantly didn't work), picking my nose, farting (obviously the camera couldn't record that) and telling you the name of the tallest tower in Malaysia.

Other than that, it's good to be blog painting once again.

See y'all here in a few months time.

Blessings,
Sam.

Manhood *pronounced with a deep growl*

So speaking of undies in my previous post, it kinda reminded me of something.

Something flashy Miss Diana Chong Su Ie got each of us as our Christmas gifts last year.

I mean check it out. The box is already flashy by itself, what more putting it on.

Read it. Squinting might help. =)

Like I said, what more putting it on right?

"Freedommmmmm!!!" (Well not really to Alex's *ahem* cuz it can't fit "APPARENTLY")

At least now finally someone did something practical by showing us true LOVE, COMFORT & SUPPORT.

Peace out K town.

First entry of the year

Okay. I've to quickly blog cuz I just got the urge to. So let's do this until this urge fades away and returns back to me becoming the 'L' word. (Yeah. You figured that out. Too LAZY to even spell the whole thing out. Sigh. I'm funny.)

I know what's the question that's in your head right now.

It's gotta be what's NEW with me. You know... NEW year, NEW post, NEW undies? Haha Okay scratch that, but yea. Did I hit the mark?

For one thing that's for sure is that when you walk pass me or simply just graze shoulders against me, you'll notice something new.

You'll notice a new Samuel-Oh-SCENT. Yeap that's right.

Ain't no Romano's going on no more (Although I still love you Romano but not as much as my mistress) but say hello to...

What do rockstars do? The rockNroll sign babehh!

*And if you're curious to know who this hunky sounding Romano dude is, it's not a guy you dummy! It's my deodorant.*

It's the first perfume that I've ever bought for myself so yea.. I'm a proud daddeeh! (nope I'm not a dad per se. Just thought it fitted nicely after the word proud.)

So far I've been getting remarks that it has a SEXY smell. Not sure if that suits me or not. Nahhh... I'm just being modest. Damn right sexy suits me alright!!!! hahahahaha.

Word.

Latestsss

It's 2.41am and I'm too lazy to blog but seeing the vacancy of this blog somehow pushes me to jot something down here anyway.

To be fair and fast, we're gonna go point style babehh!! (danggg cat just scratched me! bahh!)

Okayy.. I'm just gonna go on with the list without any particular order ya. Whatever comes to my head first rules. Good?

#1: CHRISTMAS!
How did yours go? Mine went pretty swell...

One of the rarest things happened during the annual family shebangs dinner at my uncle's this year.

So this group of carollers came to sing to us. I must say, they were pretty good. They didn't do the usual stuff, but incorporated sorta edgy and cool stunts in their Christmas carols. I liked it!

Rufus the guitar maestro.

As I was saying, something rare happened this Christmas. My entire family plus the sneaky aunties and uncles embarrassed the bergorilla out of me! APPARENTLY, I've got this new status in the hood. They made me sing back to the carollers. I mean, who does that?! Sheesh. Nevertheless, I love my family members to bits lah. It's cool... it's cool. =)

#2: The NS Trio
Naviin came back (A whole troop came back actually. You'll see later) and what do u know.. the rest was history!

Couldn't have our usual dinner ritual at Friday's, but it was okay. Nando's made do for us with our never ending chatters just catching up and even STILL reminiscing about NS. How cool is that? I don't know of many NS goers who came back still keeping in touch with their mates after 3 years! Love you guys!

Ohh yaa. Hels finally did the honours buying our drinks at Starbucks. Wait. It was Coffee Bean. But we agreed that it should be Starbucks right? So should we let her go, Nav? I mean we don't wanna be SOMEONE we know whose name starts with a K... hahhhaha. (Inside joke. Don't mind us.)

#3: FGA's College Camp: Unlock
This year was the first time I didn't have any youth camps to go to at the end of the year until Jared goon "claimed" my body for his camp.

Jean, Isaac, Joanna (surviving subang chick! Go youtube!) & Josh

See, I told Jared naively that if the band won BOB that he'd be able to use my body how ever he wanted, ONCE. So yeahh... came Wednesday night at 11pm, which was the night before camp date was when he called to claim his prize and I excitedly agreed. Manage to last minute-ly put all my plans on hold and go for this camp.

I didn't regret! Thank you Jared eventhough we didn't really have the time to hangout cuz we all know WHY huhhh? haha You're so funny that even your own sister laughs at your jokes lahh. HAHA!

I took home three things. Firstly, that one encounter with God which was priceless and secondly, the amount of friendships made! Thirdly, which is also the mother of all bombs, I was taught the best and addictive card game ever. BRIDGE!!!!! My life has never been the same since then. Godspeed.

Smackdown Sharkfin Soup! GGRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

#4: People-who-came-back-from-different-planets-recently

Alex the aussie boy does the best impersonation of a cinabeng trying to pikat a girl.

Sighh... what are you trying to tell us man?

The first thing that he greeted me with when we picked him up from the airport was, "Aiyohh. Oooss ooossss. My ka-sui hurts man! I sat on a drum seat which was meant for a 4 yr old and broke it. The metal bar beneath the cushion...." (you know how it ends)

Alice Tan!! Look at that. You're so hot you made me perspire. lol. We need an overthetable talk soon!

Amanda Lim Wei Yee! Yeappp. Boys. Hold on to your horses. The woman's back! It's been great catching up with you babe. We need moreeeeeeeee and coffee to go along with that too. =)

Jacquie!!! My favourite ang moh. You better praise the mother for bumping into each other at 1u cuz you were supposed to text me your number since you came back! haha

So... popsicles soon? =) =) Let me get my hands on Naviin first okay!

Okay guys. The list still goes on and on. But I can't do it no more. The mind is able but the body is weak I say. Goodnighttttt and good day!!

Still feels like a dream...

Okay! Since I finally have the time to proclaim this on my own blog, I shall now officially say it.

BUS COMPANY, one of the awesomest bands in my books 'ta pao-ed' the whole Battle of the Bands home for supper! The best chicken part of eating it is the 'di tong bak', which also is the Grand Prize Winner!! Get it get it? lol.

Okay sorry... I tried to be funny. But I guess it only left a "HUH??" look on your faces. Ish ish.

So okay. We won another band competition as the Grand Prize for the Battle of the Bands Twothousandandseven! Is that awesome or is that awesomenessity (as Darren would say)?!?

Not only that. It gets better. The charity home that we were fighting for won four grand alongside with us too. God bless you guys at the Good Samaritan Home.

*note*: Kids. Spend the money wisely!! I know where you live ahh!

It's so crazy cuz this whole BOB experience wasn't actually the sweetest to begin with. We came in totally shocked after knowing we got in when we actually received the notification email that we didn't. We were bombarded with tonsss of stuff to do at the last minute, like creating a two minute video, surprise meetings, press conferences and loads more. Then came the DAY. Honestly, I was pretty intimidated by the other bands when I heard them during soundcheck.

So you can tell that my expectation throughout was so low. Even felt a tad disappointed after our act on stage cuz of some stuff. But we did our best. We gave it all back to God to steer the bus wheel. So now you know why it still feels like a dream knowing how undeserving this win was. I'm humbled.

It's so funny how we'd still say among ourselves that we should've done this, we shouldn't have done that, should've, should've, and more should haves about the show. But I guess cuz it hasn't really struck us yet that we won. It still hasn't though. =)

But yeahh lah. Shaun said he feels the same way too but when he looks at his new phone (yeah.. we won Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phones each), then he's reassured that this is no dream. HAHA. drama king lah!

Special thanks to The Good Samaritan Home for putting your heart into this wholely. We couldn't have done it without you guys being involved in out act and progress. You guys really opened our eyes so much more. We definitely learnt so much just hanging out with the kids and hearing out aunty YM's heart for the home.

Another special special thanks to close friends (you know who you are specifically) and family members who came to support even during behind the scenes. You guys are the mother of all bombs lah. Seriously.

Thank you MYC! for making this happen. Thank you for building a platform for us so that we can strive to pursue our dreams and bless others. The crews of MYC!, YOU GUYS ROCKKKKK!! Azizi, Rileen, Jason Ko, Mr Yeo Wai Tat, Liang who was the emcee and others which are too many to mention.

Also, thank you to all you Bus Company fans and supporters. You guys really went the extra mile for this. Ply cards, miniature Bus that is actually mobile! haha, screams, love, hugs, and so much more. Thank youuuuuuuu!!

Before I end this, let's give our GOD the biggest praise! He's the mastermind behind all these. I strongly believe Bus Company is His will and He'll carry this vision to a whole new height. Thank you Daddy!

I will never forget...

Those terrifying screams.

It still haunts me till today. It gives me nightmares. It makes me feel sick. It makes me wanna chop someone up into 38 pieces like Mona Fendi.

Nah.. just playin. haha

It all seem too familiar. I felt the same feeling of anticipation before the winner was announced when I watched it the first time. It's a great feeling and a tad weird cuz it's almost unbelievable.

It's a milestone in my life.

Videos? I love videos!

So finally someone and someone somemore cared to upload the MRSC Finals video on youtube for us. Thank you my lovelies. =)

And because of them, YOU guys get to see it. Yayy!

Looking back at these videos kinda makes me feel even more proud of my band especially knowing where we came from to where we've achieved to be at today. Ahhh... the sense of achievement is so much sweeter after a few bumpy rides.

Ok enough rambling. Go check these out for yourselves.

Winning song, 'What If'.

Julian Saw: COME ON LAHHHH!!! (Classic lah. haha)

Second entry, 'Air I Breathe'.

I don't know what it is, but it just gives me the chills looping it over and over again. I love it!!

Okay. Promise me that you'll have a crazyhappy day today!

p/s: I've got a jittery feeling that Christmas is gonna be rockin the bells so hard this year!

Surreal

Did you hear????????

Bus Company came home champs from the Malaysian Song Writing Competition 2007!!!

Kissing the trophy.

Our winning song was 'What If', co-written by Shaun and I.

Yesterday night was such an awesome and unforgettable experience for all of us. It was more so much for me because being involved in MRSC last year and seeing all the competitors just didn't give me guts to enter the songs this year. It only got better every year since 2005. So when Aunty Amelia approached me and "pressured" me to submit those songs in, initially I was pretty dubious, but heck! I finally did at the last minute after getting the support from my band and friends.

Personally, I really didn't expect the win. I'm serious. So when they announced the winner, my heart almost skipped a thousand beats! haha.

Can't thank you enough to the family (it was one heck of a family reunion I say!), band, friends and supporters who were there last night with your undying ear piercing screams and for friends who weren't there, I seriously hope half of the time you guys were staring at the stars, crossing your fingers for us to win. Whatever it is, we couldn't have done it without any of you people. Truly indispensable.

Told you it was one big family reunion.

Bus boys with Sarah

With Pet and Leon. (Nice hair, Darren)

All girls band, Free to Fall. Hot chicks that literally rock!

But from the bottom of my heart, I really thank God for this. I know He's only setting agendas like this as a platform for us to make a lift off in the future.

Well besides that, I thought the short snippet of Rizuan the Musical was great and urhh... sweet? haha TABITHA LAM!! You rock my socks!! If it weren't for our nonstop chatters, don't think we'd be able to pull off that 'Abel thing'. Killerrr. haha.

Oh by the way, Tabby is the real superstar. She's starred in a number of theatre shows like Tunku and Drunk Before Dawn (two of many) and even as one of the leading female vocalists in SIBKL's POWER album. She's a complete package as a performer I tell you and not forgetting a really down-to-earth person.

*don't mention it, Tabs. =)*

Also, look out for Rizuan the Musical album at the stores now. I think it's out already. I'm the male vocalist in that album. Don't think. Just go get it!

Okay. Need to get back to my Prison Break fever now.

Catch you on the flip side yo!

Classic
